Welcome to the Life Science Pub on November 26 at Orangeriet Boule & Bistro, Umeå!
Registration is open. Places are limited, so make sure to secure your spot!
Join us for an evening of networking, conversations and new connections across the life science ecosystem.
The event is open to life science professionals from academia, industry, healthcare and the public sector. Feel free to share the invitation with colleagues and others who may be interested.
The evening will include networking, food and the UBI Cup in boule and darts (limited spots), along with other social activities.
UBI Boule Cup & UBI Dart Cup
The venue, Orangeriet, has recently been reconfigured, with more dartboards and fewer boule courts. This year we have room for:
* 64 participants in the darts tournament
* 8 boule teams (3-5 participants per team).
Update, 14.00, Oct 21: The boule tournament is now fully booked with eight teams! You can still register if you're part of one of the eight confirmed teams. All other registrations, including individual sign-ups for mixed teams, will be placed on a waiting list.
Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so make sure to sign up quickly to secure your spot in one of the tournaments.
The first games in the boule and dart tournament will start at 16.30. Draw and schedule will be updated closer to the event.
Other activities
You can play billiards and shuffleboard for free between 16.00-20.00. Additionally, friendly boule and dart matches can be played for free on available courts after the tournaments, until 20.00.
Food & drinks
Fish tacos with a vegetarian alternative are offered. You buy the drinks yourself at the bar.
Registration & cancellations
Registration deadline is November 20.
Registrations received after the deadline will be placed on a waiting list. You can only attend if a spot becomes available.
Note: If you can no longer attend, please cancel your registration so we can offer your spot to someone on the waiting list. If you don't cancel, you will be charged a no-show fee of SEK 200.
